About Me.
I am passionate and enthusiastic about all things creative, particularly surrounding reporting, both for live broadcast and print. I am ambitious and high achieving, and I fulfil my duties and projects to a high industry standard. Always filled with ideas and willing to try, tackle and take on anything. I am no stranger to problem solving and situation management. I have interviewed high-profile celebrities, written freelance for several publications and blogs, and have experience both in front and behind the camera.
Alongside journalism, I also have experience directing short video projects, along with editing footage and podcast audio. I have previously hosted my own radio show, and have participated in several political debates live on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Awards and Certificates
2024
Winner of Best Arts and Culture Piece - Awarded by the National Student Publication Association
I was awarded the 2024 Best Arts and Culture Piece for an article titled The History of Sussex music, from Jimi Hendrix, to nothing. This was an investigative, historical and critical peice into music history, where I tracked down and interviewed attendees of historical performances, and called out the student union to provide more live music events for students.
Certification in Politics of Representation: Remembering and Forgetting in Contemporary Europe. Awarded by the University of Masaryk and the University of Sussex
For this certification I was flown out to Brno, Czech Republic by the University of Sussex to work alongside students at the Univerity of Masaryk. My group focused on climate change, and how to report, and relay difficult information to younger audiences.
2022
UNIQ University of Oxford Certification in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
I was accepted onto the UNIQ University of Oxford Programme, where I participated in online lectures, and discussions with academics from the University of Oxford.
2019
LAMDA Certification in Drama - Distinction Grade Achieved
I learnt and performed several monolouges to judges to the LAMDA awarding body.
I am currently partaking in an extra-curricular course: Media Law for Student Unions.
